Irv,
Hi from a very calm evening! There is almost a full moon outside but effects me positive.  There was an important guest this afternoon at my heaven home. The maestro of the best Jazz Orchestra ( big band) of Turkey. And we talked on a great project that he and I and the thirty instrumentists will take part at the project.  It is a long time project but smells really wonderful.

It was my wonderful dream to sing with a big band and you see the dream will come true.I hope! I have to work very hard on it. We will start to work next month. And on the other hand, I have been working on ‘ Besame Mucho’ almost everyday. You see how hard to be able to sing a song. I mean to sing a good and qualified song. You have to work on the song meter by meter and note by note  very carefully. And the emotions that you transfer to the song is very important. If you sing the song with your emotions it really sounds much better..  Because then the audience can feel it more. And the most beautiful sucsess is the audience. I mean you can see the best reflections of your song on the audience. I have discovered that pain and grief inspire me to sing and to write! Thank God and the Nature cause they both have given me a very exceptional talents to be in the center of this great life and the great people. How can I react against them.

I accept whatever they have given me. You know! I had educated in conservatory on Turkish Classical Music years ago but  I have been interpretating the jazz standards and the ballads for four years but I have been a very qualified jazz fan since I was a child. I used to listen to the LP’es of Shirley Bassey, George Benson, Aretha Franklin and etc.., but I never thought that I would be a jazz singer one day in the future. And the blue notes have made me closer then in love with these beautifully made tunes! I would like to thank to all the composers and lyricists who made all these magic jazz tunes!

Great Irv! Have a great day today! Only today is yours! Even not yesterday and probably  not tomorrow! So enjoy your day! Be happy!

Respects,
Farah
