I can hear the great sound of the wind in my kitchen! This morning I woke up very early to start the day because I will be on the stage, in a very famous Hotel with Ilham Gencer; the most famous pianist and jazz singer in Turkey! He has been giving me the strongest energy to sing those beautiful jazz standards! I really fly to the sky and visit the stars while I perform. I sometimes lose myself in between the blue notes! I find myself in those dreamy tunes. Well...very happy to express myself in those beautifully made songs! And each song has a different meaning which takes me to somewhere else! I have never fallen in love with a man.
But I have fallen in love with each song I have sung upto now! Thanks to the Nature to have extended me such an exceptional voice and make me feel the words and the notes together and make me to stir them with my little voice in my soul and give them to the audiences as beautiful songs. I did educate at the conservatory but I had studied on Turkish Classical Music but I have been a very qualified jazz follower! And as you see, I have reached the magic music platform; called ‘jazz’! The roots of Jazz music have been coming from the Gospel music. Not everybody could get in to those mysterious songs which were written and composed by hearts and deep emotions. I thank God for this unique gift! And I feel sweet excitement in my soul this morning because I will be on the Stage which I love to be on most, this afternoon!
I wish you a very peaceful time with your exceptional wife; Mrs. Yalom who has been motivating me to sit at the womens’ table of the Planet with much more applications. She has been motivating me to be more open in my words to write to the readers field. I could discover that I could express myself in the words on the papers as well! And I feel happy that I could transfer the most beautiful part of this hard life in my words and phrases to the people all around the Planet! Thank you, Marilyn! Thank you great lady!
